Who is the patron?

From the very beginning, COLOS has gained recognition in the geological community, both in Poland and abroad. From its first edition, the event has been held under the prestigious patronage of not only leading Polish institutions, such as ORLEN S.A. – Central Branch of Polish Oil and Gas Company and the Oil and Gas Institute, but also by the world’s most important specialist organizations in the field of sedimentary geology and sedimentology: the International Association of Sedimentologists (IAS), the Society for Sedimentary Geology (SEPM), and Seds Online – a global educational platform bringing together sedimentology experts and students from around the world.
